Filoromo\, Jr. Community Service Award \nJoin the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce in celebrating Brandywine Valley Active Aging (BVAA) as the 2022 recipient of the Joseph G. Filoromo\, Jr. Community Service Award.\n\n \n\nABOUT: BVAA enriches the lives of aging adults living within our community by providing services that enhance the quality of their lives. Due to BVAA's recent hard work\, dedication\, creative thinking and nimble positivity\, the organization has impacted the lives of thousands of adults by providing stability in the face of uncertainty. Their team has tackled and alleviated barriers in their community such as food insecurity\, social isolation and access to supportive social services. BVAA stood as a beacon of hope to flood victims during Hurricane Ida\, distributed 100\,000 meals through the pandemic and geared up a virtual campus to connect their community to services and emotional support.
