The County is undertaking this effort to support the implementation of Landscapes3\, to help MS4 municipalities comply with municipal stormwater ordinance updates required by DEP\,  and to meet the County's obligations under the Pennsylvania Stormwater Management Act (Act 167). These plan will also help to ensure that the County has the best available guidance and information to respond to current and future water resources concerns facing the County and its residents and businesses.\n\n \n\nCCWRA will use this presentation to introduce the current plans\, to provide a brief overview of current County conditions\, and to discuss some of the potential changes under consideration for the updated stormwater model ordinance. We will also use this time to learn about attendees' water resources concerns and or challenges. Our plan is to complete a model ordinance ready for DEP's review sometime during the fall of 2021. This would allow time for municipal adoption prior to DEP September 30\, 2022 deadline. The final integrated water resources and stormwater management plan will be completed by the end of 2022 and will serve at the water resources component to Landscapes3.
