Forged in Freedom Traveling Exhibit + CYI Tour

The Coatesville Youth Initiative is proud to partner with the Chester County Department of Archives and Records to host the traveling “Forged in Freedom: Chester County at 250” exhibit as part of the countywide Chester County 250 celebration.

Join us on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Coatesville Youth Initiative, 545 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, for this free community event celebrating the people, places, and stories that helped shape Chester County and America over the past 250 years.

The exhibit, “Forged in Freedom: Chester County at 250,” highlights Chester County’s role in American history from the Revolutionary War through the industrial growth of the 20th century. This special display offers visitors a chance to better understand where our county fits into the American story and how local history connects generations of families and communities.
 

Join us to celebrate Coatesville’s important place in Chester County history. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
