The Chamber invites local businesses, municipal leaders, investors, developers, and other business professionals to join us in addressing the framework of sustainable growth in the Western Chester County Region. As President, Michael Markman oversees acquisitions, leasing, financing, operations and development for BET Investments. BET Investments is a real estate development and management company that owns, manages, develops and leases commercial property throughout the United States. BET Investments’ portfolio is valued at over $1 Billion and consists of 7M square feet of shopping centers, over 4,000 apartment and student housing units, approximately 1M square feet of office buildings and over 2,000 acres of ground for development.

Bill MacCauley John Rock Inc.
Bill MacCauley started out at John Rock & Company, Inc. as a subcontractor in 1993, then joined them as a full time employee in 1994. MacCauley purchased the Downingtown location and in result his vision and dreams guided John Rock Inc. to a period of explosive growth and expansion. In 2004 his current location in western Chester County opened. He took many of the processes, ideas, and philosophies that he had proved successful at his old plant and pushed them to the very edge of high volume production. Some pallet industry leaders have described this facility as the “Disney World” of pallet manufacturing. The John Rock team under Bill MacCauley’s leadership stands ready to show you and your company why they have earned and proudly bear the title of “America’s Premier Pallet Manufacturer”.

Arcadia Land Company
W. Joseph Duckworth is a founding partner of Arcadia Land Company. Mr. Duckworth was named National Builder of the Year for 1992 by Professional Builder magazine. Mr. Duckworth was a member of the Chester County Planning
Commission from 1992 to 2002 and served as its Chair for the last three years of his term. He sits on the Board of Trustees of the National Constitution Center (NCC). In addition, he has served on the Boards of the Natural Lands Trust, the Franklin Institute, and the Board of Overseers for Penn Design, the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design.
