Grounds for Success | The Business of Board Service
Start your day off by making connections with local businesses and professionals at Grounds for Success. This casual networking event offers the perfect opportunity for you to build new relationships for your business growth, exchange ideas, and strengthen your network in ChescoWest.
Insight Session: The Business of Board Service
During Grounds for Success join the Chamber for an interactive discussion on how service-led methods in business operations benefit economic and community growth. You'll hear tips and opportunities from Kelly Cockshaw of United Way on best practices and pathways of volunteer and Board service. Chamber member businesses will share what opportunities they've built from serving on boards and committees and how your business can too.
Why this matters?! Board service creates meaningful partnerships and connects businesses with community organizations, municipal leaders, educators, and other professionals, opening the door to collaboration and shared solutions while contributing to a shared mission. Investing time and talent in serving local organizations demonstrates a commitment to the community where our businesses operate, employ, and grow. These collaborative opportunities create an environment where business, people, and our overall economy thrive.
