Municipal Event: Chester County Urban Centers Forum

THIS EVENT IS AN EDUCATIONAL SESSION BY THE COUNTY FOR MUNICIPAL BOROUGHS + CITY OF COATESVILLE 

Chester County Planning Commission is pleased to invite Boroughs and the City to the 2026 edition of the annual Chester County Urban Centers Forum taking place on Wednesday, September 23rd, from 5pm – 7:00 pm.

This year’s forum will focus on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s) and will be held as Zoom webinar, so participants can join from the comfort of their home or office.

ADU’s are an increasingly important housing option that can help expand attainable housing, diversify a municipality’s housing stock, and provide homeowners with additional income.  That is not to say ADU’s are without challenges or important considerations should be made regarding their regulation.  Join CCPC staff along with national and local speakers to learn how you can adopt or adapt your municipal regulations for ADU’s in consideration of best practices. The presentations will be followed by a live question and answer session.
