Women in Business Tea

Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce brings you a panel of local women leaders and business owners to chat over tea about the strategies they’ve used and lessons they’ve learned while growing their business or in their professional career. The event will feature dedicated time for networking, sipping tea, and enjoying light fare.
The panel will dive into Women-Owned opportunities and accreditation, tactics to building your relationships, tips on leadership and growing strong teams, expanding your reach with clients and vendors, and navigating tough situations strategically.

Kirstin Wentz-McElroy: Wentz Funeral Home: Since 1894, Kirstin carries the legacy of a multi-generational family owned business, serving the Western Chester County community for 130+ years. Kirstin received her Pennsylvania Funeral Directors License and became the fourth generation funeral director in the Wentz Family alongside her mother, Joye. The Wentz cherish the importance of family, and know all too well how to balance it all when running a business. Kirstin graduated from Northampton Community College for Funeral Service Education, is a graduate of Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and currently serves on the Board of Limited Jurisdiction of Pope John Paul II Regional Elementary School and the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Kimberly Derosa: Hydraterra Professionals: Kimberly serves as a Sewage Enforcement Officer and Marketing, Grants & Communication Specialist at Hydraterra Professionals where the team combines state-of-the-art technology and practices to address multifaceted, complex issues facing Southeastern Pennsylvania communities. With a Bachelors of Arts from Bryn Mawr College, she works to secure funding for wastewater infrastructure projects, navigates through challenging public sector projects, and educates clients on the importance of water resource planning and management of the Earth's most valuable asset.
